Edward Robinson, born in Baxter, Ga on June 17, 1927, and passed away in Minneola, FL on September 7, 2023 at the age of 96.
As soon as Ed turned 18 he was summoned to serve his country. He was in the army for 4 years in WW2. He lived in various areas of Georgia in his early years. In the 50’s he moved to Central Florida and lived the rest of his life in Orlando and the surrounding areas.
During his career he had his own sheet metal business. In later years he worked in the air conditioning business. He was married to his first wife Senora for 54 years before she passed. He later married Jinell Carroll and they were able to have 19 years together.
He was much loved by his original family, extended family through his second marriage and his church family. He was known affectionally for his tales of his antics of his early life.
He was pre-deceased by his wife of 54 years, Senora Robinson, brothers Benton Robinson, Pete Robinson and sister Ellen Boyd as well as his step-son Greg Carroll.
He is survived by his present wife, Jinell Carroll-Robinson, son Roger Robinson (Marcia), step-son Stan Carroll (Christine), step-daughter Debbie Gembecki (John), 10 step-grandchildren and 5 step-great grandchildren.
