In his early teens, he embarked on a remarkable journey, starting his career at Kenya Commercial Bank. He worked diligently and moved up the ranks, eventually retiring in his 50s before moving to the United States.

An avid golfer, Suru’s passion for the sport earned him numerous trophies from local golf clubs. He forged some of his closest friendships on the golf course, where his love for the game brought joy to everyone around him.
Suru’s love for music was a constant presence in his life. He could often be found singing his favorite tunes, filling the air with melodies that touched the hearts of those around him. Music was his solace and a means of bringing him joy.
