Rhoda Phillips, 96, of Longwood, FL., passed away peacefully on Monday, September 11, 2023. Rhoda was born on October 11, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio to Harry and Beatrice (Lampert) Kramer.
Rhoda was an accomplished artist, potter, and designer. She loved to play socialized games, especially Mahjong & Canasta. She was also an Environmentalist and let nothing go to waste. She composted before it was a popular thing to do. She was also a proud Democrat.
She lived in The Springs of Longwood for 40 wonderful years and then loved residing at Cascade Heights in Longwood where she enjoyed the many events, wonderful staff and the many friends she met there including a special love from and to Jack Leavitt who passed away April 2021. He was 103.
Rhoda was preceded in death in 1995 by her loving husband, Paul Phillips. She was married to him for 48 years.
She is survived by: her three daughters, Lynne (Leonard, dec. 1/1/2020) LaCroix of Saint Petersburg, FL., Bonnie (Robert) Murphy of Athens, GA. and Lorrie (Phil) Megow of New Smyrna Beach, FL.: granddaughters, Halle (Lance) Renzulli and Maya (Jeff) Davis: grandsons, Darren Mazur, Danny (Frank) Salamida and Thomas Megow: great-granddaughters, Alexandria Renzulli and Mackenzie (Renzulli) Lucero along with great-great grandson Reau Lucero.
You are loved by many and missed by all. You are gone but you will never be forgotten.
