Couple wanted for theft of PS5 controller from local Target

Sanford police are trying to identify a couple who stole a PlayStation 5 controller from a local Target.

According to the Sanford Police Department, the individuals featured in this story were seen entering the Target located at 1201 WP Ball Blvd in Sanford on August 7.

During their visit, the couple walked to the electronics department. The female selected a PS5 controller, valued at $199.99, and placed it inside the shopping cart.

As the couple walked to the end of the aisle, the man concealed the PS5 controller before the couple exited the store without paying.

The couple was seen entering a dark-colored Nissan sedan before leaving the parking lot.
