Robert Saldana-Baez

Robert Saldana-Baez, 73 of Orlando, Florida passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. He was born in Jan Juan, Puerto Rico, the son of Roberto Saldana and Gregoria Baez. He moved to Orlando in 2019 from Brooklyn, New York. Robert was a A-1 Journeyman Electrician and a member of
IBEW Local #3 in New York. He was also a member of a Pool league in New York and won many awards for his playing. A Die-hard New York Yankee fan and also a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Robert was also a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving his country with honor and distinction during the Vietnam War.

Robert is survived by his wife Rebecca Saldana of Orlando, Florida; his daughters: Dilcia Saldana-Wilmont and her husband Percival of East Orange, New Jersey, IlianaSaldana of Orlando, Florida; his brother: Albert Saldana of Cleveland, Ohio; his sisters: Daisy Harper and her husband Steve of Cleveland, Ohio, Yolanda White and her husband Bobby of Akron, Ohio and Lydia Saldana of Manhattan, New York. Robert is also survived by 5 grandchildren and a host of friends.

A Memorial Celebration of Life for Robert Saldana will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Roger C. Thompson Memorial Chapel at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home, where Robert will be accorded Military Honors by the Osceola County Veterans Council.
