Steve Derewiany

Steve Derewiany, age 102, of Longwood, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at AdventHealth Orlando. He was born in Palmerton, Pennsylvania, on April 19, 1921, to parents Michael Derewiany and Marafta (Kuryk) Derewiany.

Steve retired after 24 years of service in the United States Marine Corps as a Gunnery Sergeant. He proudly served his nation during World War II and the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, Noriko Derewiany, and son, Andrew Derewiany.

He will be inurned at Arlington National Cemetery, with Full Military Honors, at a Later Date.
