Suspect in e-bike theft at recovery center wanted by Sanford police

The Sanford Police Department is asking the public to help identify a suspect wanted in connection with the theft of an electric bike from a local addiction recovery center.

According to SPD, the man featured in this story was seen entering the fenced-in property at the Recovery House of Sanford, which is located at 401 Pecan Avenue.

Once the man was in the fenced-in property, he allegedly removed a dark blue electric bicycle with a basket attached to the handlebars. The bike, which belonged to one of the residents at the center, is valued at $400.
