Charlene E. Lanter

Charlene E. Lanter, 70, of Apopka, Florida passed away on September 16, 2023. Mrs. Lanter was born on October 05, 1952 in Orlando, Florida to the late Edward and Evelyn Athearn.

She is preceded in death by her siblings John Edward Athearn and Cindy Lou Hosmer. She is survived by her loving husband Ed Lanter; children Angel Jones, Michelle (Trey) Hill and Kim (Stacy) Leddon; siblings Edwina Tucker and Michelle Athearn; grandchildren Ashley, Jennifer, Whitney, Victoria, Casi, Coby, Dawson and Brian; great grandchildren Ryder, Evelyn, Declan, Wyatt, Bella, Daisy and Troy; nieces/nephews Genia, Casey, Eric, Matthew and Cory.

Charlene was loved by so many. She had two daughters of her own and a step daughter but she raised more children than she could count. She opened her home and heart to everyone she knew. She was a brave and strong woman up to her very last breath. She fought a lot of battles in her life but lost her final battle to cancer after four long years on September 16th. She passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. She will forever be missed by all who knew her.
