Jeffrey Robert Dennison

Jeffrey Robert Dennison, beloved husband, father, grandfather (Nino), brother, son, friend and family to many, passed away on September 21, 2023, in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, United States. He was born on March 26, 1954, to Bernard Dennison (aka Bernie) and Antonette Dennison (aka Nan). He was the oldest of three children. He had a younger brother and sister Ronald and Andrea Dennison.

Jeff was married to his loving spouse, Desiree Dennison, in the year 1981. Their union was blessed with three wonderful children: Blake, Brigitte (married to Frank Liebler), and Brent. Jeff cherished his role as a father and took great pride in supporting and guiding his children throughout their lives.

Jeff was a doting grandfather to two adored grandchildren Tyler and Liam. Their presence brought immense joy to his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Jeff started his academic journey in Archbishop John Carrol High School, where he developed a strong educational foundation. In 1972, he proudly graduated and continued his studies at the esteemed University of Florida with a degree in accounting. There, he pursued higher knowledge and began shaping his future.

Following his studies, Jeff embarked on a successful professional career. After a few years with various roles in different firms he eventually found fulfillment and purpose working his way up to director position in Humana, a health insurance company, where he dedicated his time and expertise to make a positive impact on countless lives. Jeff’s dedication to his work was apparent to all those who knew him.

Aside from his professional accomplishments, Jeff will be remembered for his awareness, accountability, generous spirit, and love for his family. His attitude tended to be firm but he also possessed a unique sense of humor that would bring smiles and laughs to an entire room. His mental fortitude, strength and disciplined nature made him a go to person for structure and advice for hard life decisions. He would always shoot you straight and tell hard truths. He always saw the big picture.

Jeff’s hobbies included golfing, tennis, fishing, enjoying the water, tending to his backyard oasis, and reading enlightening books on various topics. He found solace and peace in these activities and often used them as a way to connect with his family and friends. His love for nature and the outdoors was evident, and he would always find solace and tranquility amidst the beauty of the natural world.

The memories created with Jeff will forever be cherished by his loved ones. His legacy will live on through the lives he touched and the love he shared. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A graveside Service will be held on September 29, at 3:00 p.m. at the Greenwood Cemetery, located at 1603 Greenwood Street in Orlando.
