A 28-year-old woman was arrested this week after she was accused of sexually battering a 13-year-old girl with whom she lived.
On Monday, Osceola County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Susana Tamayo-Viera on charges of sexually battering a minor, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
According to OCSO, deputies were dispatched on Monday, September 18 to a call for service in Kissimmee regarding the sexual battery of a minor.
Upon arrival, the mother of the victim told police that she walked into her daughter’s room and observed Tamayo-Viera touching her daughter’s breast area over her bra.
During an interview, the victim told deputies that she was in her room getting ready for school when her roommate, Tamayo-Viera, walked into her room and began commenting “about her breast.”
According to the victim, Tamayo-Viera began to “touch her breast area over bra,” before “digitally” penetrating the victim’s vagina over her clothing.
The victim told police that approximately one month prior to the incident, Tamayo-Viera had offered the teenager a beer and a “vape to smoke from.”
Tamayo-Viera told deputies that she was in the laundry room area when she went over to speak to the victim’s mother to “apologize for the argument.” While in the room, Tamayo-Viera says she sat on the bed and then left while the victim’s mother “continued to argue with her not wanting to mend the topic.”
Tamayo-Viera told police that she was eventually physically attacked and that she then “called law enforcement.” She denied allegations of touching the victim and “appeared inconsistent in her statement.” Deputies noted in their report that Tamayo-Viera would “add further details” when trying to clarify the incident that occurred.
Tamayo-Viera was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail, where she is being held on $60,000 bond, according to court records.
