Linda Joyce Slone

Mrs. Linda J. Slone, 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Westminster Winter Park following a brief illness. Mrs. Slone was born September 29, 1942 in Erie, Pennsylvania to the late Sam & Sarah (Brandt) Cohen. She and her late husband Sheldon Slone of blessed memory moved to the Orlando area in 1973 from Akron, Ohio. Mrs. Slone retired as an Account Executive with the Heritage Florida Jewish Newspaper.

Mrs. Slone is survived by her devoted sons; Michael (Lisa) Slone of Winter Park, Florida and Louis (Desiree) Slone of Casselberry, Florida; brother, Jerry Cohen of Erie, Pennsylvania; sisters, Joan Kramer of Sherman Oaks, California, Shirley Lechtner of Erie, Pennsylvania and Maxine Cleary of Thousand Oaks, California and her grandchildren; Alana Rae Slone, Harris Lee Slone, Jaden Lauren Slone.

A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Slone will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2023 in the Chapel of Congregation of Reform Judaism (928 Malone Drive, Orlando) with Rabbi Rachael Jackson officiating.

Private family interment will follow at Temple Israel Cemetery, Gotha, Florida. May she rest in peace and may her memory always be a blessing.
