Annie Lee Jones

Annie Lee Jones was born on July 5, 1944 to James Holley, Sr. and Bernice Holley. Annie attended Drew High School.

At a very young age Annie discovered she had a passion for flowers. Annie worked for Hermann Englemann Nursery for 30 years before retiring.

The Lord in His infinite wisdom, deemed it timely on September 12, 2023, to call our beloved Annie Lee Jones to her eternal resting place. Her departure is a deep and personal loss to her family and friends and she will be deeply missed by them all.

Annie was preceded in death by her father: James Holley, Sr.; mother: Bernice Holley; brothers: Johnny Holley, James Holley and William Holley; sisters: Carrie Holley, Joann Holley and Margaret Holley and daughter: Bernice Jones Parker.

Annie Lee leaves to cherish precious memories to: two daughters: Dina Jones and Betty Jones; son-in-law: Jason Parker; grandchildren: Shandon Brown, Constance Zellous, Jeffrey Deshazo, Jerimiah Jones, David Manuel, Antwaun Welch, Germany Jones and Jay Jones; twelve great grandchildren: Antonio Huey, Altonio Huey, Ajourin Huey, Aalaila Huey, Jade and Jordan Rogers, Marvena Windom, Marvin Windom, Jr., Chance Windom, Ja’Miah Deshazo, Jeffrey Deshazo, Jr. and Jazlyn Deshazo; three greatgreat grandchildren: Kadiance White, Mulan Taylor and Royal Jones; two aunts: Johnnie Mae Holley and Maxine Holley; two sisters-in-law: Lizzie Mae Holley and Jackie Holley; one brother-in-law: Jimmy Jones; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
