Mark Allen Lusby, 62, of Windermere, FL, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 25, 2023, following a nearly three-year battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). He was at home, surrounded by his wife and children.
Mark was born on November 13, 1960 in Chestertown, MD, the son of Barbara Jean and Raymond L. Lusby. He graduated from Kent County High School with the class of 1979.
A lifelong car-lover, he was a dedicated and respected salesman, first at Geno’s Automotive in Chestertown, then at Williams Chevrolet in Elkton, MD. He loved watching NASCAR races, listening to classic rock and Kenny G, taking weekend camping trips with his wife Tina and dog Zoey, and spending time with his three adult children and his young grandson. In 2017, Mark and Tina moved to Windermere, FL with dreams of retiring in a place they truly loved, and they had no regrets.
He was preceded in death by his father Raymond L. Lusby.
Mark is survived by his loving wife Tina Pinder Lusby and their beloved dog Zoey; his mother Barbara Jean Lusby Wright (Jack) of MD; his sisters Sharon Redding (Steve) and Donna Ingram (Scott) of MD; his daughter Lindsay Lusby of MD; his son Brett Lusby (Stephanie) of NY; his stepson Lyle Pinder (Stav) of FL; his grandson Phoenix Pinder; and his many nieces and nephews.
His family will be holding a private celebration of life event on Saturday, October 14 on the Chester River in Chestertown, MD.
