Truck carrying rocks overturns, closes Turnpike entrance ramp

An entrance ramp from Interstate 4 to the Florida Turnpike was temporarily closed on Wednesday morning after a truck carrying a load of rocks overturned.

At around 10:20 a.m., Orlando Fire Department crews reported that a truck hauling rock had overturned while traveling westbound on I-4.

The vehicle was approaching the entrance ramp to the Florida Turnpike.

As of this morning, the entrance ramp from I-4 was shut down while crews worked to right the truck and clean up all of the debris.

No injuries were reported as a result of the accident.
