Anthony Shane Ellis, Sr., 51, of Orlando, FL departed this life on Saturday, September 23, 2023. Anthony, a life long resident of Orlando, was born on March 2, 1972 to Annie L. Young and Pasco Ellis Jr. He was employed as a truck driver for several years. He was a member of the Jupiter Masonic Lodge #22. In his spare time, he enjoyed driving race cars, dancing, and being around his family. Anthony was and will continue to be an inspiration to us all for living life in an exemplary way. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Anthony leaves behind his beloved wife, LaTonya Ellis; daughters, Mionca Rackard, Markeia Warren; son, Anthony Ellis, Jr.; father, Pasco (Sylvia) Ellis, Jr.; brothers, Bennie Lee (Sandra) Young, Pasco (Tangela) Ellis, III; 8 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives, masonic family and friends who celebrate the life he shared with us.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the church.
A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1968 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando with Pastor Terence R. Gray, I, officiating.
Interment will be held at the Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.
