Inez M. Riley

Inez M. Riley, 88, of Plymouth, fell asleep and entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 21, 2023. TT, as she was affectionately called, was born on June 4, 1935 in Shorter, Alabama to the late Rosa Lee and Honor Demps Sr. Professionally, she retired from Orange County Public Schools where she worked in security.

Inez dedicated her life to service in her church, family and community. She was an active member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, Winter Garden, serving faithfully on the usher board for several years. She later joined the membership of New Inspiration Missionary Baptist Church, Winter Garden, and continued serving as an usher. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her family and grandchildren to follow. Inez was a devoted aunt, sister, grandmother, servant and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her 5 siblings, Anderson Demps, Tommie Jean Demps-Williams, George Ann Demps, Terri Lee (Bernice) Demps, Willie Nell Miller; a devoted niece and caregiver, Sarenatee (James) Bryant; 1 grandson; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the church.

A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at New Inspiration Missionary Baptist Church, 617 S. Lakeview Avenue, Winter Garden with Pastor David S. Harp, Sr., officiating.

nterment will be held at the Plymouth Memorial Gardens, Plymouth.
