On September 23rd, 2023, Miriam Adler of Orlando, FL passed peacefully in her sleep at home. She was born February 3rd, 1943, and was 80 years old at her time of passing. She had moved to Orlando from Nashua, NH 6 years prior.
Miriam was born in Sidney, IA, but grew up in College Park, MD. She studied education and taught kindergarten and elementary school in the Montgomery County, MD school system. She continued to volunteer with children programs throughout her entire life.
Miriam was also an Adult Trainer of the Swift Water Girl Scout Council for over 25 years and became a lifetime member of Girl Scouts USA.
Miriam was predeceased in 2019 by her husband of 56 years, David Adler.
She is survived by her two children, Rebecca Hammar of Orlando, FL, and Raven Kaldera of Hubardston, MA, as well as her brother Merris Mills of College Park, MD. She also leaves behind 3 grandchildren Jessica Medina of Worcester, MA, Ian Herrmann of Nashua, NH, and Brittany Herrmann of Orlando, FL.
