Local police departments hosting National Night Out

Multiple police departments will host events to celebrate National Night Out this Tuesday.

The Ocoee Police Department will host its National Night Out celebration from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Bill Breeze Park, which is located at 125 Lakeshore Drive in Ocoee. Families are welcome to come out and celebrate with the community at the free event, which will feature a DJ, food trucks, K9, SWAT, games, raffles, vendors, and giveaways. The Sanford Police Department will host its celebration from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mike Kirby Park, which is located at 2199 S Oregon Ave. in Sanford. The event will feature will music, food trucks, drinks, and displays by the Sanford Police Department and Sanford Fire Department.

The Oviedo Police Department will host its celebration from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Center Lake Park, which is located at 299 Center Lake Lane in Oviedo. There will be activities for the entire family, including bounce houses, a juggler, a Dunk Tank, live music with a DJ, free food and drinks, stilt walkers, face painting, and many vendors and booths to visit. The Longwood Police Department will host its celebration from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Candyland Sports Complex, which is located at 599 Longdale Avenue in Longwood. The event will feature a free meal complete with a hot dog, water or soda, and a side item (limit 1 meal per person). The annual Police vs. Fire kickball game at 7 p.m., neighborhood watch information, police and fire vehicle displays, and community partners and businesses displays. The Casselberry Police Department will host its National Night Out celebration from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Lake Concord Park, which is located at 127 Lake Quail Pond Cir. in Casselberry. There will be activities for the entire family, including Kids play in a fun zone, including an obstacle course, face painting, raffles, free drinks and snacks, and a lot of activities and vendors. The Deland Police Department will host its National Night Out celebration from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Earl Brown Park and Playground, which is located at 50 S Alabama Avenue in Deland.
