Elderly man who stole backpack from Culver’s wanted by Oviedo police

The Oviedo Police Department is asking the public for help to identify an elderly man wanted in connection with the theft of a backpack at a local fast food restaurant.

According to OPD, the man featured in this story was seen entering the Culver’s located at 889 W Mitchell Hammock Road sometime in the past several months.

During a particular visit, when the man was wearing a Berlin t-shirt, cargo shorts, and black shoes, he picked up a backpack that has since been reported lost.

The man, who had gray hair, was seen leaving the area in a Gold Toyota 4-door sedan.
