Janet McGuigan, 80, of Orlando, Florida, peacefully passed away on September 30, 2023 surrounded by her loving family at AdventHealth Hospice in Orlando.
Janet was born on July 22, 1943 to Ralph and Mary Volpicelli in Niagara Falls, New York. She was married to the love of her life, Brian D. McGuigan (deceased) aka “The Big Guy” on October 15, 1966. She was a loving and nurturing mother to Brian D. McGuigan Jr (deceased), Christine “Christy” M. Korten (Charles “Charlie” Korten) and John T. McGuigan (Alexandra “Alex” McGuigan). Janet was a devoted and doting grandmother “Gram” to Emily M. McGuigan, Molly A. McGuigan, Liam T. McGuigan and Oliver L. McGuigan.
Her family will be receiving visitors on October 19, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home at 3806 Howell Branch Road, Winter Park, Florida 32792 with a casual Celebration of Life to immediately follow.
Janet will be interned with her husband at Florida National Cemetery at a later date to be determined by her family.
