Dr. Robert S. Pribell, of Orlando, passed away peacefully at the age of 88, on the evening of September 28, at Cornerstone Hospice.

Robert graduated from Temple University and served as a dentist for our community. He was born under a lucky star in Elizabeth, New Jersey where at the age of seventeen he met and fell in love with his future wife, Brenda. They were married 61 years before she predeceased him in August of 2020. Bobby (as he was known to family and friends) joined the Air Force after graduating dental school and came to Florida while commuting with astronauts to Cape Canaveral.

His dental practice was established in Pine Castle, FL. Bob and Brenda raised their three children in a home situated on the site of the original Pine Castle; located on big Lake Conway facing due east. His family overlooked sunrises and celebrated space launches from the 1960’s onward. He served the city of Belle Isle as a councilman in the 1970’s. Robert excelled at golf bridge, tennis, watercolor painting, gardening and croquet. By the end of his life, he shot a total of six hole-in-ones.

He is survived by his daughter Heidi, of Cambridge, MA; son Richard with cherished daughter in-law Joyce of Palm Bay and Boca Raton; beloved grandchildren; Johanna and Joshuah; and son Kevin of Orlando.
