Netha Tompkins, 78 of Orlando, Florida passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Cornerstone Hospice in Ocoee, Florida.
Netha was born on March 29, 1945 in Alma, Michigan. She is the daughter of the late Bruce and Alice Spitler. Netha was the loving wife of 61 1/2 years to Mallory Tompkins.
Netha was a wife and stay at home mom to her 2 kids. She enjoyed the flowers that Mallory would grow in the yard and bring in to make the house pretty. She also enjoyed their many parrots, amazons, cockatoos and macaws. She will be missed by many.
Besides her loving husband, Mallory; she is survived by her two children, Mark Tompkins and wife (Jennifer), of Orlando, Fl., and Miriam Thomas and husband (Rick), of Leesburg, Fl. Her brother Dan Spitler and wife (Debbie) of Tallahassee, Fl. Her 10 Grandchildren- Elisabeth Thomas, Natalie Tompkins, Seth Thomas, Nathan-Andrew Tompkins, Joshua Thomas, Marissa Strong, Garrett-Adam Tompkins, Dalton Thomas, Shayanne Elliott, Emily Ferguson. And 9 Great Grandkids with #10 due in spring 2023.
The family will have a Memorial service for friends and relatives at 11:00 a.m. on Monday October 9, 2023 at West Orlando Baptist Church, 1006 E Crown Point Road, Ocoee, FL 34761.
