No injuries were reported after a driver got their vehicle stuck on railroad tracks in downtown Orlando over the weekend.
On Saturday, October 7, Orlando Fire Department crews observed a car stuck on train tracks right next to Fire Station One, which is located off Central Boulevard in downtown Orlando.
According to officials, a “wayward car” drove onto and blocked the railroad tracks.
In photos shared by OFD, the car appeared to have become lodged on the tracks.
Orlando Police Department responded to the scene and the driver was safely escorted from the vehicle. Bystanders walking through the area were kept at bay as OFD personnel worked to free the vehicle.
The vehicle was removed a short time thereafter and railroad service was restored.
