Eva Louisa Johnson was born February 15th, 1965, at the Orlando Naval Base located in Orlando Florida. After her birth she resided in Sanford Florida for the majority of her life. She passed away September 20th, 2023, at AdventHealth Lake Nona ER in Orlando Florida, at the age of 58 years old.
Her educational background includes a high school diploma from Seminole High School located in Sanford Florida. She received an associate degree in information technology from Keiser University in Orlando Florida and received an associate degree in business from Seminole State College, formally Seminole Community College located in Sanford Florida.
Her employment history includes Secretary for St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church located in Sanford Florida, Team Member for Walmart Corporation, Food Service team member for Seminole County Public Schools and a Team Member for McDonalds Corporation.
She genuinely enjoyed helping others. She volunteered for many years helping and feeding the homeless. She was a caregiver for many years for our deceased mother Madie Rhymes Johnson and a babysitter for many of our nieces and nephews. Eva was our family historian. She was the point of contact when the family inquired about photos, and she kept track of family events. She enjoyed researching online to enrich her life and others. She loved music especially gospel, rhythm & blues, and jazz. Her hobbies were cooking, photography and traveling.
Preceded her in death were her parents Reverend Irvin Johnson and Madie Rhymes Johnson; siblings Irvin Charles Johnson, Merry Anne Johnson, and Shirley Ann Johnson and Marvin Johnson (Christine Johnson).
Eva is survived by her brother Frederick Johnson (Deltona Florida), and sisters Tammy Sherell Johnson (Deltona, Florida), Robin Johnson Lind (Atlanta Georgia), and Angela Gail Johnson Dyson(Fayetteville North Carolina); Nieces and Nephews: Joey Johnson, Eric Robinson, Renee Lind, Demetrius Lind, Lena Banks, Theodore Johnson, Theresa Douglas, Marvin Johnson, Angela Johnson, Sharon Johnson, Melvin Johnson, Rebecca Johnson, Russell Dyson, Stephanie Johnson, Alysa Angel and a host of other family members and friends.
Eva was a caring and high-spirited person who was loved and will be missed. In honoring Eva Lousia Johnson’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. Our family will be honoring her in private and invite each of you to do the same. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.
