Jose Luis Cruz, 85, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving Family on Friday, October 6, 2023 in Kissimmee, FL. He was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico the son of Zachoria Cruz and Gregoria Munoz.
He moved to Kissimmee, FL in 1991 from Brooklyn, New York. Jose worked as a Crossing Guard in Osceola County for over ten years. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and served his Country with Honor and Distinction.
Jose is survived by his son, Gilbert Cruz of Saint Cloud, FL, daughter, Hilda Williams of Poinciana, FL, Carmen Hernandez of Saint Cloud, FL, Vanessa John of Poinciana, FL. He has nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. Jose was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carmen, son, Ruben, brothers, Carlos, Raul and Miguel, sister Maria.
The Cruz family will receive friends on Saturday, October 14, 2023, Visitation from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Funeral Service 3:00 p.m. at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home.
