A popular event celebrating German food and culture will return to Avalon Park this week.
Downtown Avalon Park, which is located at 3651 Avalon Park Blvd, will host Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 14, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. On Friday, October 13, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., the city will host a special beer garden preview.
The free, family-friendly event will feature Europa Band, Schuhplattler dancing, The Brussel Sprouts Polka Band, a free bounce park, a Weiner dog derby, a beer garden, children’s games, and other activities.
