Ralph Garcia passed away peacefully onto his eternal rest on October 8, 2023, after a brave seven-month battle with cancer, with his wife, Deluccy Garcia by his side.

Ralph was born on April 5, 1946, in Bogota, Colombia, he had a deep love for his beloved Colombia. His journey from Colombia to the United States symbolized his unwavering pursuit of the American dream. In this foreign country, he embraced a new culture, dedicating himself to learning the English language with determination and adaptability, and achieving the honor of being an American citizen which made his heart burst with pride and happiness.

Ralph’s entrepreneurial spirit thrived, leading to a successful career in the gasoline station and retail trade industry. Starting as a mechanic with his father, he eventually became a prosperous industrial machinist and businessman. He faced challenges with courage and a belief that anything was possible graduating at age 67 with his Associate of Science from Southern Technical College with studies in Applied Electronic Technology, leaving behind a legacy of perseverance that filled his family with pride.

He leaves behind an everlasting legacy of love and resilience in the hearts of his six beloved children: Nancy, Lucy, Lissett, Sophia, Ralph Jr., and Anthony. Ralph was more than just a father; he embodied determination, provided unwavering support, sought adventure, and was a wellspring of curiosity and generosity. His skilled hands were always at work, repairing what was broken and creating something new and extraordinary. Ralph fearlessly blazed a trail, leaving an indelible mark on all who followed.

With an endless desire for travel and discovery, Ralph’s heart longed for exploration. He believed the world was meant to be explored and experienced, leaving us with a legacy of boundless curiosity. In 2019, he fulfilled one of his dreams by traveling to Europe with his wife, visiting London, Paris, and various cities in Italy.

In our hearts, Ralph will forever be remembered for his unwavering resilience, boundless kindness, and the radiant spirit that brightened every room he entered. His warmth and generosity touched countless lives, leaving an enduring impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Ralph was known for his happy spirit and contagious energy, wherever he went he knew how to make people feel included and at ease. Music was one of his loves; from Vallenatos to Rancheras, wherever he went music and happiness followed.

Ralph leaves to cherish the memories of his wonderful life; current wife, Miryam Diluccy Garcia; daughters and sons from previous union, Nancy Sofia Guiliano (husband, Michael Guiliano), Lucy Elena Payne (husband, Jason Payne), Lissett García and Sophia Mendoza (husband, Gilbert Mendoza), Ralph García Jr. and Anthony Gregory García (wife, Ayana Garcia); grandchildren, Priscilla Elena Guiliano, Paulina Theresa Guiliano, Jazzlyn Faith Garcia, Yongel Jayden Brito Jr., Aleysha Lee Mendoza, Gilbert Junior Mendoza, Josiah Noah Mendoza, Liliana Miyu Garcia, Luna Belle Garcia and Sophia’s daughter that is joining the family in November; brother, José Gregorio García; sisters, Martha Sofía García and Luz Magdalena García; grandpuppies, Camilla Guiliano, Max Payne, Kanelo Mendoza; his beloved cats, Gringo and Gatona; and countless family members and friends that loved him dearly.

Ralph is preceded in death by his father, Jose Gregorio Garcia Rodriguez; mother, Sofía García; brother, Carlos Arturo Garcia; granddaughter, Jasamee Love Mendoza; grandpuppy, Maui Garcia.
