Vernon Lee Patterson, 81, of Orlando, departed this life on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. Vernon, was born on April 18, 1942 in Ft. Pierce, FL to the late Alice Parrish and Enoch Patterson.
Soon after completing high school, he enlisted in the US Air Force and served honorably until 1972. After his military service, he began a career as an architect for Washington, DC Schools system. He was a loving and devoted father, brother, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Vernon leaves to cherish his memories: 5 children, Vernon Leigh Patterson, Christopher Alexander Patterson, Shari LaVawn Andrews, Kayeisha Mercedes Patterson, Natalia Alexis White; sister, Alice Lane; 2 grandchildren; and a host of neices, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A service of memory will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 12:00 Noon at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Pastor Charles McWhorter, officiating.
