Joseph C. (Joe) Ware, 67, of Orlando died peacefully on October 6 at AdventHealth Hospital after 5 weeks of dealing with the effects of ALS. Joe was born in Orlando, the son of the late Joseph C. Ware, Jr. and Jeanne R. Ware.

In addition to his parents, Joe is preceded in death by his sister, Susan Jordan.

Surviving are his three sisters Judy Nero, Linda Collins, & Patty (Jim) Coyle; nieces Lisa Nero, Tammie (Ray) Cornell, Lela Jordan, Rebecca Coyle, and Liz (Tim) Thomasson; his nephews Mike Nero, Ben Collins, Lennon Jordan, David Coyle and Joseph Coyle.

We will miss Joe’s stories, his positive attitude, and his presence in our lives.

Joe attended William R. Boone High School where he was inducted into their Football Hall of Fame. He also attended Tennessee Tech University where he excelled in football. Joe was an avid fisherman and for a few years owned a fishing business in Belize.

In Orlando, he worked as the manager of various restaurants, and in his later years owned a business selling solar systems for pools and homes. However, his passion was his art. He became an accomplished painter, focusing mostly on wildlife. In recent years, he expanded his work and started painting portraits of some of his friends’ pets. He loved painting and was also dedicated to helping new artists get started.

A Memorial Service for Joe will be held on Saturday, November 4 at 1:00 pm at Northwest Church, 5495 Clarcona-Ocoee Rd. Orlando, FL 32810.
