A quick-thinking garbage truck driver was able to dump the contents of his truck after the heap caught fire, preventing it from causing further damage.
Orange County Fire Rescue units responded to the 8000 block of Commodity Drive on Thursday just after 6 a.m.
According to OCFR, the contents inside a garbage truck caught fire while it was in motion.
The driver of the vehicle found a nearby, empty parking lot and dumped the contents of his truck, which was fully engulfed in fire.
Crews from two local stations worked to quickly extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading.
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
