The city of Windermere and its police department are seeking volunteers who will help them build bunk beds for children in need this weekend.
The city of Windermere, the Windermere Police Department, and their Foundation have partnered with Sleep in Heavenly Peace for the bunk bed build, which will take place on Saturday, October 21, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Town Square Park (520 Main Street, Windermere).
Volunteers of all ages are welcome and lunch will be provided at the event. Any volunteers under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian’s permission to participate, and volunteers under 16 will need a parent or legal guardian present.
