Vigonia Casanova Regala, age 94, of Altamonte Springs Florida, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from lung cancer.
Vigonia was born on November 14, 1928 in Casiguran, Quezon, Philippines to her parents Adriano Casanova and Valentina Moral.
She is survived by her son Chito (Bing) Regala, grandchildren Grenjen (John) and great grandchildren Caitlyn and Tyler; grandchildren Laarnie (Mon) and great grandchildren Lovely and Joycel; grandchildren Dreidel and Beverly (Levin); son George (Charo) Regala, and granddaughter Gracelyn (Sol) and great granchildren Elia and Callan; daughter Glecy (Tom) Mueller and grandson Jay (Gisela) and great granchildren Jayden and Mason; grandson Ezekiel; daughters Gemma and Gina (Bong) and grandchildren Genesis, Gabbie, and Marigrace; sons Jun Regala and Neil Regalado.
Vigonia was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Florencio Regala; her son Ricardo Regala, and her parents, Adriano and Valentina Casanova.
Vigonia loved cooking, shopping, dancing, and gardening. She was an elementary school teacher and was an avid Manny Paquiao fan.
She had spiritual gifts of generosity and hospitality.
She received Christ as her Lord and Savior in the 80’s and her sister, Rosing, was instrumental in bringing her to the Lord.
A viewing and visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2023 at Newcomer in Longwood
Viewing / service will be held at Newcomer Longwood on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with service starting at 10:00 a.m.
