Vivienne Deborah Walker passed away on October 8, 2023, 8 days before her 63rd birthday.
Vivienne was born in Birmingham, England; she relocated to Kingston, Jamaica as a youngster, and eventually joined her parents in Brooklyn, New York. It was there in New York where she attended and graduated from Clara Barton High School of Nursing.
To know Vivienne was to love and admire her strength.
She leaves behind to cherish many precious memories of a life well-lived:
Siblings – Steadman S. (Clarice) McKay of Birmingham, England, Geraldine E. (Webley) Miller of Tallahassee, FL, Marlene A. Coombs and Pauline T. Coombs, both of Brooklyn, NY, and Henry K. (Schaevon) Miller of Kissimmee, FL; Sister in-law – Cherian Stewart-Coombs of Palm Bay, FL; Aunt – Aunt Winnie of South Florida; Nieces – Melissa, Karen (Richard), Georgia (Andrew), Nicci (Junior), Serena, Savannah, Jessica, and Brianna; Nephews – Michael (Agne), Carlton (Kelly), Mark (Nadine), Lee, Courtney (Danielle), Carl, Rafael, Darnell and Henry II; and numerous cousins, other relatives and many friends, including Vern Odell (Neighbor) and Savia Bacchus (Co-worker).
The Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by The Celebration of Life service beginning at 1 p.m., followed by the Interment. All 3 events will be held at Osceola Memorial Gardens.
The family is asking that you wear bright color clothing as we celebrate Vivienne’s bright smile, fun, loving, bubbly personality. We know that black may be traditional, but we think bright colors will better suit our celebrating her life. And if you are up to it, why not add a head wrap or African print like she always wore.
