A driver was injured after losing control of a vehicle along a Sanford roadway that crashed into a tree.
Crews from the Sanford Fire Department and Seminole County Fire Department responded to the scene of an accident near the intersection of Old Lake Mary Road and W. 25th Street on Monday, October 23, at around 9:11 a.m.
According to authorities, a driver, whose age, gender and name were not provided, was traveling northbound on Old Lake Mary Road when they lost control of their vehicle.
The vehicle landed on its side and hit a tree in a wooded area on the side of the roadway.
The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was transported to a local hospital. Authorities say the driver was in stable condition as of yesterday morning.
