A busy intersection in Sanford was shut down for several hours on Wednesday after a dump truck tipped over and spilled a load of garbage over the roadway.
Seminole County Fire Department crews responded to the intersection of Monroe Road and State Road 46 on Wednesday, October 25, in response to an overturned vehicle.
Emergency personnel responding to the scene found that a dump truck had tipped over onto the roadway.
No active leaks were coming from the vehicle and the cleanup lasted at least an hour, according to authorities.
There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.
