Damaris Campo Montaldi, beloved wife, devoted mother, and cherished member of the community, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 23, 2023, at the age of 79. Born on January 24, 1944, in Barranquilla, Colombia, to Miguel Antonio and Alba Cedulia Campo. Damaris brought joy and kindness to the lives of those around her.
Damaris was a woman of grace and elegance. She dedicated her life to the loving care of her family and the creation of a nurturing, supportive home overflowing with love. Her deep faith, unwavering love for God and relentless dedication to her family was a testament to her selflessness that will never be forgotten. Damaris was known for her strong Christian values and her commitment to living a life guided by her faith. She drew strength from her relationship with God and found solace in prayer and reflection. Her trust in His plan was unshakeable, even during life’s most challenging moments.
Damaris leaves behind a legacy of love and strength. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Belinda and Natalie, son-in-law Andy, husband Juan, loving grandsons Anthony and Giovanni, her sisters Eneida and Deborah, and her many nephews and nieces who will all forever carry her memory in their hearts. Damaris is preceded in death by her siblings: Ceasar, Ariel, Donaldo, Cedulia, Floraida and Elena.
