Raymond Joseph Ricciardi

Raymond Joseph Ricciardi, 81, of Windermere, FL, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 23, 2023, with his loving family by his side.

Ray was born on November 27, 1941, grew up in Hamden, CT, the son of the late Umberto and Carmel Ricciardi. Ray was a proud and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother who centered his life around supporting and spending time with his family. Ray loved good food, wine, and stimulating conversation. Dinnertime with Ray was a memorable experience for those family and friends lucky enough to break bread with him and learn his pearls of wisdom. Aside from being an avid golfer, and devoted New York sports fan, Ray had a unique passion and savviness for personal finance, helping so many in his life in this area.

Ray is survived by his wife, Diane Russo, of Windermere, FL, daughters, Lisa Bourget of Raleigh, NC, and Karen (Jeremy) Stephens of Naples, FL, and son Michael (Kathy) Ricciardi of Wilmington, DE, as well as six grandchildren, Sebastian and Xavier Bourget of Raleigh, NC, Isabella and Madeline Stephens of Naples, FL and Joseph and Alison Ricciardi of Wilmington, DE. He is also survived by his brother, Peter (Susan) Ricciardi and nephew, Alexander, of North Haven, CT.

Ray was predeceased by his first wife, Barbara Symoens Ricciardi, formerly of Redding, CT, and parents Umberto and Carmel Ricciardi, formerly of Hamden, CT.
