Leona Morgan

Leona Morgan, 91, of Orlando, departed this life on Saturday, October 21, 2023. Leona was born on October 19, 1932 in Sylvester, GA to the late Mattie Ruth and Frank Gordon.

Leona was educated in the Worth County Public School System. She relocated to Orlando at the age of 25. Leona dedicated her life to providing her family. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her family to follow. She was a devoted grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Ms. Leona loved and cherish her only granddaughter, Darlene Hurley; 2 great grandsons, Cornelius Hurley, Darius Hurley; 7 great great grandchildren; a devoted caregiver, minister, spiritual counselor and friend, Ms. Tezell Samuels; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel , Orlando with Pastor William Robinson, III, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.
