Forrest J. Mitchell, age 71, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at his home in Orlando.
He was born on January 27, 1952 at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma, son to his late parents, George and Bessie (Place) Mitchell.
He was a graduate of Monte Verde Academy, class of 1969. Later he served his country honorably as a member of the United States Navy, serving on the USS Forrestal.
On May 14, 1988, he was married to the former Janet Raver.
Forrest was the president and owner of Insulated Structures until he retired in 2022.
Besides his loving wife of 35 years, Janet Mitchell, Forrest is survived by his two stepchildren, Bo Jarrett Bingham, and Jessica M. Bingham.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his twin siblings, sister, Donna Sacco, and brother, Donald Mitchell.
