A 63-year-old woman was killed after she was struck while running across Narcoossee Road.
The fatal accident took place near the intersection of Narcoossee Road and Jones Road on Thursday, November 2, at around 9:17 p.m.
According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was running east across Narcoosee Road, just south of Jones Road.
A 22-year-old Saint Cloud woman who was driving a 2008 Honda Civic southbound on Narcoosee Road says she saw the pedestrian and tried to avoid her, but was unsuccessful.
As a result, the front left side of the Honda collided with the pedestrian.
The pedestrian, who was from Kissimmee, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the car was uninjured in the crash.
