A 29-year-old man was killed after his vehicle became airborne before crashing into a tree and overturning into a ditch on State Road 528.
The fatal accident took place at around 8:07 a.m. on Wednesday, November 15, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The man was driving a 2021 Ford Mustang westbound on SR 528 when he began to take the exit ramp onto northbound State Road 417.
The driver failed to negotiate a curve and began to rotate counterclockwise off the roadway, onto the south shoulder of the ramp.
The Mustang then became airborne and traveled into a ditch, where the front wheel assembly struck a tree, causing the vehicle to overturn.
