Yaprece Michelle Gordon, 36, of Winter Garden, departed this life on Sunday, November 12, 2023. Yaprece was born on September 12, 1987 to Darlene Willis and Michael Gordon.
Yaprece was educated in Orange County Public Schools. To those who knew Pre, she will be remembered as a caring, fun, outgoing person who was willing to lend a helping hand. She was always there to offer her support. She loved people and her passion was caring for her family. Both family and friends would agree, Pre was someone you could trust and rely on. Yaprece was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her mother, Darlene Willis; sisters, Yilene Jackson, Laicia Gordon, Shannon Law, Daneeca Gordon, Azurrie Davis; brothers, Yuri Jackson, Michael Gordon, Desmond Gordon, Cauri Leath; Godmother, Joyce (Gary) Hoskell; maternal grandmother, Rev. Willie Bell (Albert) Coleman-Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 24, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at New Inspiration Missionary Baptist Church, 617 S. Lakeview Avenue, Winter Garden.
A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1968 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando with Pastor Terence R. Gray, I, officiating. Interment: Oakland Cemetery, Oakland.
