An Orlando man died in a fatal accident after his vehicle went off a local roadway and crashed into a tree.
The fatal accident took place near the intersection of Orangewood Boulevard and Parkview Lake Drive on Thursday, November 16, at around 8:46 a.m., according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
The man, who was 58 years old, was driving northbound on Orangewood Boulevard in a 2024 Honda HRV, approaching Parkview Lake Drive.
For unknown reasons, the vehicle ran off the roadway and into the center grass median, collided with a curb, and continued traveling northwest in the median until colliding with a tree.
The driver was transported to Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
