Prison bars on dark background

A 55-year-old Orlando man will spend over two decades behind bars for possessing dozens of videos and images depicting violent sexual acts against children, toddlers, and infants.

William Ross King III was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Wendy W. Berger to spend 24 years and 5 months in federal prison for receipt and possession of child sexual abuse materials.

King originally pled guilty to the charges on August 3, 2023.

According to court records, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office received a CyberTip report regarding the transmission of child pornography just over a year ago. On October 14, 2022, the sheriff’s office executed a warrant at an Orlando hotel room occupied by King.

During the execution of the search warrant, a laptop was seized that was brought in for forensic examination. An analysis of the laptop uncovered at least 42 images and 80 videos depicting child sexual abuse material.

King admitted to authorities to downloading and viewing the materials. The videos and images included sadistic and masochistic conduct and other violent sexual acts against children, toddlers, and infants.
