Maria D Collado

Our beloved mother and grandmother from Apopka, FL, born on June 17, 1933, left us on November 3, 2023, at the age of 90.

She was born on June 17, 1933, in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico.

Maria was a wife, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

Her life was a testament to her unwavering faith, as she dedicated herself to ministry work and counseling at the women’s prison. A devout Christian, she touched the lives of many through her compassionate service and love.

Her memory will forever remain in our hearts, a guiding light of love, faith, and compassion. We are grateful for the time we had with her, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Maria is survived by her husband, Hector Luis Collado, and her children – David Otero, Maria Maldonado (Pedro), Felix Mendez (Maria), George Mendez, Maria Del Carmen Collado, and Elizabeth Ortiz (Edwin) and her family tree bloomed with a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great-grandchildren.

May she rest in the arms of the Lord forever.
