Arlene Lillian Rosso Baron, of Orlando & DeBary, Florida passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023, in her comfortable room at Vitality Living Forest Lake Assisted Living Facility.
Arlene was born on November 27, 1937 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Letcher & Lillie Boggs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Paul Rosso and Andrew C.B. Baron, brother, Lester Boggs, grandchild, Mitchell Baron, and great grandchildren, William & Andrew Jones. Arlene leaves behind a great legacy and family tree. She is survived by her sister & brother, Lorrie Marske and Letcher Allen Boggs, Jr. and her five children, Theresa Hopcraft, Mary Anne Adams, Daniel Baron, Andrew Baron, and Timothy Baron. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ryan Jones, Sean Hopcraft, Matthew Adams, Daniel Adams, Abigail Adams, Brennan Baron, Cecilia Baron, Tyler Baron, Chelsea Baron, Olivia Baron, Kristi Delgado, Rebecca Baron, and Amanda Baron. Arlene also is survived by her great grandchildren, Victoria Jones, Bradley Hopcraft, Audrey Hopcraft, Amelia Adams, Everly Adams, Isaac Adams, Ezra Adams, Gabrielle Delgado, Luca Delgado and Kelly Delgado.
Arlene lived a full life as a military wife and mother traveling the world and living in Bainbridge, Georgia, Fairfield, California, Kirchberg, Germany, Lafeyette, Indiana, Kirkwood, Missouri, Chalfont St. Peter, England, and then residing in Orlando & DeBary, Florida since 1971.
Arlene was an educated woman earning her Master’s degree in Psychology at the FTU / University of Central Florida. Arlene’s professions were varied and when she was young, she worked in Public Relations at Ralson Purina in St. Louis, Missouri and in Orlando she worked as a legal secretary with her husband, Andrew Baron, a receptionist at Northern Telecom and her final position, she was a Social Worker for the State of Florida/Department of Children and Families in Orlando, Florida.
Arlene’s passions were her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren, and her hobbies included being an outstanding chef, baker and writer, and she loved to sail on her sailboat on the Banana River in Merritt Island, Florida. Arlene had a big heart, was feisty and had a great sense of humor. Arlene loved to celebrate holidays and birthdays with her family, and she will be missed by all her loved & knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held in January and details will be provided.
Arlene will be interred with her beloved husband, Thomas Paul Rosso, in Jefferson Memorial Barracks, a military cemetery, in St. Louis, Missouri at a later date in the Spring, 2024.
