New bakery with boba, dim sum opens on Colonial Drive

A new business that claims to be the only bakery in Florida that offers dumplings, dim sum, sweet buns, pastries, coffee, and boba, has opened its doors on Colonial Drive.

Bakery 1908 opened for business at 2021 E Colonial Drive in Orlando earlier this month. Located at the former location of The King Crab Shack, the new bakery soft opened on November 1 and held a grand opening celebration on November 11.

Bakery 1908 features a wide variety of desserts, from buns and donuts, to rolls and decorative, birthday, and chocolate cakes.

The business also serves up multiple types of cheesecakes.

For those looking for savory options, the restaurant’s menu features a variety of fried, pan-fried, and steamed dim sum items, including Taiwan popcorn chicken, multiple types of dumplings, and sticky rice, among several others.

In addition to its food options, Bakery 1908’s menu offers a variety of boba and fruit teas, as well as coffees and regular teas.

The bakery is open seven days a week, from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
