In a social media post made on Tuesday, OPD indicated that detectives are still investigating a homicide that took place in downtown Orlando on the morning of July 8, 2023.

Since the incident, OPD has released surveillance video showing the man wanted for questioning in connection with the homicide of the individual with whom he was seen riding around downtown.

According to OPD, the man featured in the video was seen with the homicide victim between 7:15 a.m. and 7:25 a.m.

On the day in question, OPD officers responded to the area of Summerlin Avenue and Palmer Street in reference to a vehicle crash. When officers arrived, they located a deceased man with injuries that were not consistent with the crash.
