The Morse Museum will launch the holiday season this week when it lights up its Tiffany windows and hosts a concert featuring the Bach Festival Choir and Brass Ensemble.
Christmas in the Park will take place on Thursday, November 30, from 6:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Central Park, which is located at 445 North Park Avenue, in Winter Park.
The annual tradition was started in 1979 as a way to share a part of their rare Tiffany collection with the public in an informal setting. The event begins at 6:15 p.m., when the window lights will be turned on. The concert concludes around 8:00 p.m., and the windows will remain lit until 8:30 p.m.
The windows are memorials with religious themes, produced by Tiffany Studios for the chapel at the Association for the Relief of Respectable Aged Indigent Females in New York City.
Visitors are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs, but tables are not allowed.
