Louise Smith Boyd

Louise Smith Boyd, 85, of Orlando, FL departed this life on Saturday, November 25, 2023. Louise was born on January 11, 1938 in Portsmouth, VA to the late Willie Mae Smith and John H. Sawyer.

She was a retired educator with Orange County Public Schools. Louise was a woman of great wisdom. She dedicated her life to providing for her family and service to her church. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all of her children and family to follow. She was an active member of Grace Bible Church where she participated in whatever capacity was needed. She also loved shopping and travelling. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She leaves to cherish her love and memories to her 3 children, Franklin Jackson, Donnell (Ramona) Smith, Marcella Smith; 2 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at Grace Bible Church of Central Florida, 801 Dorscher Road, Orlando with Pastor Gene Pritchard, officiating. Interment: Chelten Hills Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA.
